Jones Beach 12 mile drive. Will provide transportation if needed. Robert Moses Park, Restoration Village and Fire Island great places to visit. Whenever traveling, you are bound to forget to bring something important. Like one guest forgot his tux bow tie! OMG! My husband's was perfect! ln the event something is needed, usually one of us will be home to assist you. Our guests can reach us by phone, text or a knock on the door. One of us is almost always available. Don't be shy! Just ask! HICKSVILLE is a convenient place to stay due to the proximity to everything including NYC. A MIDDLE class town in MIDDLE class America in MIDDLE of Long Island with not so MIDDLE class hosts. HICKSVILLE'S available roads lead you to the fabulous beaches; Jones Beach, Hamptons and numerous famous wineries. We're close to Long Island Expressway, Northern State Parkway, Southern State Parkway, Wantagh State Parkway, Meadowbrook Parkway and 9 shopping malls in one mile radius! Whole Foods, Trader Jones, Apna Market, Shop-Rite, CVS, Staples, IKEA, TJ Maxx. Great restaurants in metro area! Jani, Chilly and Curry. Also, close to many catering venues in Nassau and Suffolk County for frequent wedding parties. Closest airports are Laguardia, Islip, JFK and NWK. There is public transportation from airports to Long Island Railroad (LIRR) via Air Tram at JFK. It takes you directly to Jamaica Station. You can take (LIRR) Huntington, Ronkonkoma, or Jefferson Lines. They all stop at Hicksville station, but always verify with conductor. Occasionally, repairs are being done. If any problem, call us! possibly one of us is available to pick you up from the airports or you can take Lyft or Uber. Front door keypad lock combination gets changed periodically for your safety. If we are not here at time of check-in, we'll supply code for self check-in. However, usually, we are here to greet our guests at check-in time.
