Best kept secret, 90 miles north of Portland, in the western mountains of Maine. Thibault's Parkway offers you and your family a beautiful retreat on Webb Lake with plenty of parking. Tumbledown Mountain, Maine's 2nd most popular hiked mountain with an elevation over 3000 feet is minutes away. On top sits Maine's highest elevation pond. Little Jackson, Big Jackson, Bald, and MT. Blue are some of the mountains that wrap around Webb Lake and are a hikers dream. The main house has 3 bedrooms that sleep 6 comfortable and could provide an air mattress to one of the upstairs rooms, either private or to an existing bedroom. This includes 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a chefs kitchen, and hot tub room. The Guest quarters can also be rented, under Main house with guest quarters, which include 2 large bedrooms, kitchen, living room with a queen sleeper sofa. This area can sleep 4 with a pull out sleeper sofa. Both buildings have a washer, dryers, and dishwasher. The main house sits 12 feet from the beach with a large patio and dock for large gatherings. This retreat can be rented separately or together. Depending on the season, this house is the ideal location for snowmobiling, alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming, boating, moose watching, golfing, and much more. If you are not an active person, sit in any front room and enjoy the scenery of the wildlife. Sit out on the dock and listen to the loons while enjoying the panoramic views of the mountains. all Additional mattress provided at $50 per head per nite I will have a contact person provided and available at all times. This is a very quiet cove with 12 camps. Most folks only spend a couple of weeks a year here. There are more kayaks, canoes, sailboats, than motorboats on the lake at any time. Experience the calls of the loons early morning or evening. This is an everlasting memory for you and your children. Witness your friendly moose walk in the backyard early spring or late fall. Watch them swim across the lake in the summertime. Boats can be launched at MT. Blue less than 2 miles away from the property and moored in front of the house. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats can be rented at the state park or me.. Bike around the lake a 17-mile loop or teach your children how to ride a bike in our quiet cove. Plenty of parking for cars and snowmobiles or boat trailers. Snowmobile from the lake or put your snowshoes or skis on. Multiple ski mountains are nearby: 25 miles to Back MT. 45 miles Sugarloaf MT. 42 miles Sunday River 36 miles Mt Abram 18 miles Titcomb MT. Maine Appalachian Trails are minutes away. Plenty of hiking mountains are steps away, including Tumbledown Mountain, Little Jackson, Big Jackson, Blueberry, Bald, and MT. Blue. The dock may be shared if the guest quarters is not included in your rental.
