A slow combustion fire, (please note that fireplace is closed from mid November til 1st April as the Mountains is a high bushfire zone) gas heating, reverse cycle air con, also individual blow heaters in the bedroom robes. Electric blankets on all the beds or if you prefer hot water bottles on linen cupboard. Linen and towels are provided as well as shampoo/conditioner, soaps, toilet paper, etc. The back of the property is secure and fully fenced, so great for your 4 legged friend. Limit of 2 dogs. Please seek permission for dog when booking. Keys are available from a lockbox. We will text code to you the evening before your arrival. Strictly no parties and only booked in guests may stay on property. Wentworth Falls is the gateway of the Upper Blue Mountains. The village is a step back in time with gorgeous speciality gift shops, interesting antique shops, some of the yummiest cafes and restaurants, also an award winning bakery. Sinclair Crescent hosts the beautiful Wentworth Falls lake. BBQ facilities, playground, amenities are all there for the perfect picnic. Put on your hiking boots and cross GWH to take in the picturesque Wentworth Falls and maybe walk the Charles Darwin Walk. Only minutes up the GWH to Leura for boutique shopping and open gardens. On to Katoomba to check out the 3 Sisters and other scenic high lights. Maybe prebook the Scenic World for some breathtaking views (scenicworld.com.au). High tea at the Hydro Majestic (hydromajestic.com.au) is beautiful as is the scenery overlooking The Megalong Valley. Up to Blackheath for Antique shops and on to Mt Victoria. So much to see. But always lovely to come back in evening to Camellia Cottage to peace and quiet. Wine and nibbles by the fire in winter or chill out in air conditioned comfort during summer.
