Derwent View, in the Peak District

A detached self catering bungalow based in Bamford the heart of the Peak District, Derbyshire. This 4 star Holiday Cottage has 3 Double Bedrooms, 2 of which have en-suite shower rooms, the other 1 is a twin with separate bathroom. Fully equipped Kitchen and dining room. 2 Freesat t.v's and Wifi. Front and back enclosed gardens with access to a garage. When you open the curtains in the morning you have hundreds of square miles of countryside as your front garden in the beautiful peak district. Derwent View is situated at the end of the village. We welcome all parties of cyclists, walkers, anglers and are family friendly. You will be able to enjoy some of the Peak District hidden gems, from famous walks (Stanage Edge, Winhill, Mam Tour) or visit the Blue John Caverns, or go see a local diary farm and try some homemade ice cream. Our local pub is great for entertainment and eating, you'll find a great cafe with post office in the centre of the village too. Situated in Bamford you have easy access to buses and trains connecting local villages/towns with great attractions. Sheffield is 30 minutes and Manchester is an hour away.
