Bright and Airy Apartment in Ideal West End Location
Summary: The property is bright, spacious and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Glasgow. It is in a great location with bars, restaurants, cafes and shops within 5 minutes walk. The property is equipped with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay and we are available to help with any issues or questions you might have. The west end is one of the most popular areas with a great selection of places to enjoy a drink or a good meal. In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak, I am taking extra precautions and measures to ensure my property is being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I want to assure all guests I have taken these extra steps to ensure the health and safety of all travelers I host. The Space: My Place is very bright and Airy and has a great view of the city. The flat itself is top floor in a secured communal townhouse building. Our interiors are modern, cozy and stylish and have been decorated with care and guest comfort at the forefront of our minds. Our vibrant kitchen/living area is packed with modern furnishings, a fully-equipped kitchen and a smart TV. We also have strong and table WiFi throughout the apartment. Our large bathroom features an equally large, low stand shower offering easy accessibility and space for a relaxing shower experience after a long say out exploring or working! Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire property throughout their stay. All check in details will be sent in advance via our electronic guidebook link. The Neighborhood: The apartment is situated in Partick and is only two minutes walk to the closest shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Byres road is 10-15 minutes walk and is a great hub for all things West-end. If you fancy some of Glasgow's best food and drink you are spoiled for choice as the famous Ashton Lane is minutes walk away from Byres Road. Have some top class food at Ubiquitous Chip or sample street-food style ramen at Ramen Dayo then wash it all down with a Guiness at Jinty McGinty's or a craft beer at the Innis and Gun bar. There is even a cinema located within the lane so there is definitely something for everyone. Be sure to visit the closeby Kelvingrove Park and Botanical Gardens if you are blessed with good weather. Both park areas boast plenty of space for picnics, lovely walking paths and a green escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With views of the River Kelvin and Glasgow University's stunning ancient campus it is also a great spot for those looking to add a few instagram-worthy snaps to their collection too. Getting Around: My place has fantastic public transport, we're a 5 minute walk to the subway station (kelvinbridge) and buses along the Great Western Road and Maryhill Road routes. Most of the West End is reached by foot and cycling in and around the city centre is generally well-accommodated for. Other Things to Note: Please be advised when selecting 1 or 2 guests we assume you will be using one bedroom. If you wish the second bedroom to be made up, it's not a problem, we just ask you select 3 guests We can arrange rental of a high chair and a travel cot if needed during your stay Please note, check in and check out is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.
