At 3 km you can walk in the authentic medieval hilltop village of Miramas-le-Vieux. You can choose between the beaches of Etang de Berre and those of the Mediterranean Sea (between 20 and 40 minutes by car). See also, the classified village of Baux-de-Provence and its castle (40 minutes by car). Salon-de-Provence will give you the opportunity to discover the birthplace of Nostradamus. If you are fond of chic boutiques, a visit to the beautiful city of Aix en Provence is essential: stroll on the Cours Mirabeau or visit the exhibitions of the Caumont Center, not to mention the famous lyric arts festival. Marseille is further south and its superb calanques offer you beautiful walks. Miramas is ideally situated to go further, to admire the regional natural park of Camargue with its flamingos and horses but also the Alpilles and its mountains or the breathtaking Luberon.
