(Although the stream may dry up in Summer, careful supervision of young children is recommended). It has a good-sized garden with a large patio, flower beds and lawns, and a large shady area with trees. Helpful owners occupy the right wing of the main house but have separate access. The Roman town of Saint-Jean-d'Angély is a 30 minute drive with boating lake, cobbled streets and excellent twice-weekly market for fresh local produce, and the historical town of Angoulême is 1 hours' drive.
