With a Friday change over day, Fowey Cottage (formerly known as Thyme) is one of our larger cottages set on two floors. It sleeps 7 people in two double, one single and one bedroom with bunkbeds. The TV has freeview and a DVD player. The open plan dining area sits next to a fully equipped kitchen with full size cooker, microwave, slimline dishwasher and fridge. From the lounge, down a couple of steps is a double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet, plus views of the communal garden and beautiful Cornish countryside. Downstairs there is a second bedroom with bunk beds, an ensuite shower and toilet, a single bedroom and a second double bedroom which adjoins the family bathroom. Outside there is a small enclosed garden with patio, wooden outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ provided during the season. Fowey Cottage has electric heating included in the price. Facilities There is secure off road parking opposite Fowey Cottage plus additional parking in the main cottage car park. Guests have the use of a communal laundry room (with freezer), indoor Games Room with pool and table tennis tables (both laundry room and games room re-opening during mid-May 2021 - subject to Covid-19 restrictions being lifted) and outdoor Play Area with slide and swings. There are also over 6 acres of grounds to enjoy! We have four cottages supplied with all you need for the perfect escape. Snuggle up with a good book in front of the crackling log burner to rest or strike up the bbq, enjoy the sunset and recuperate from the day's adventures. Are you having a party? We can also offer the use of our Studio, which caters for larger get-togethers and private functions such as weddings, hen dos or corporate events. ****Please contact us for additional availability requirements, whilst we only accept 7 day bookings online we can certainly be flexible if required**** Families welcome Lower Trengale welcomes all guests and can offer plenty to keep your littles and bigs entertained. We have an outdoor play area and an indoor games room with pool and table tennis tables. With two little ones of our own, we know how little extras help with the whole family holidaying and will do our best to cater for everyone! Pet friendly Dogs welcome - up to two per cottage at £20.00 per dog. They will love to explore the 6 acres of land we have to offer and the nearby walks across Bodmin Moor to places such as the picturesque Golitha Falls and the local beaches (the nearest less than 20 minutes away). A cream tea on arrival and a warm welcome all year round We are open all year. A cream tea awaits you on your arrival, and you can be sure of a warm welcome from Gemma, Andy and family, including the cats Flossie and Tabitha.
