Quiet, calm and privacy await you at Petit Clos. Our region is home to many of the most beautiful french villages that are listed under the official designation "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France," along with numerous historic bastide towns such as Eymet and Duras just 15 minutes away. Chateaux dot the countryside as well as line the Dordogne River where you can rent canoes and feel like you have truly gone back in time in this beautiful and unspoiled region. The famous prehistoric caves of Lascaux are also in close proximity. There is a world class golf course nearby - Chateau des Vigiers - and for those who prefer to tour the region by hot air balloon, Domaine de Durand offers flights and is within walking distance of Petit Clos. Brocantes and special "vide greniers" (flea markets) are held often so you can search for little french treasures to take home. If fine french food is what you are after, you have struck it rich here in the Aquitaine region known for its gastronomic specialties. Dine out at one of the many fine restaurants in the area and shop for your delicacies at one of the weekly markets. When you get your second wind in the evening, check out one of the many festive summertime night markets and fetes.
