Villa La Dolce Vita is located in Oria, an ancient hilltop village located in the northern Salento on the border between the Murge of Brindisi and the Tavoliere of Lecce. Elegant but at the same time characteristic, the villa spreads out on 2 levels. On the ground floor you will find: - a living area with dining table and small TV on one side, and on the other side an L-shaped sofa and smart TV with dolby surround and DVD player, plus a relaxation area with 2 armchairs - 1 double bedroom with access to the en suite bathroom (without door, curtain only) - 1 complete bathroom with access from the kitchen and bedroom - 1 bathroom / laundry room with sink, toilet and washing machine - kitchen with high table and 2 stools - 1 large double bedroom with sofa and TV - 1 complete bathroom. The first floor, which is accessed by a staircase, includes: - 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom - balcony / terrace which can be accessed from the bedroom. Outside the villa you will find a relaxation area with a sun umbrella and lounge, an area with a beautiful and large private swimming pool with deckchairs, a lounge area and a dining table, a barbecue and a wood-burning oven. A door gives access to the citrus grove where an additional relaxation area with seating area and another dining table has been arranged for our guests. Everything designed for your comfort and relaxation! The villa also comes with 3 private parking spaces and underfloor heating and fan coils for cold / hot air. Together for a safe holiday. Oria, located on the highest heights of ancient fossil dunes in the north of Salento, can boast a dominant position on the surrounding Salento plain, which was chosen by the Cretans at the time of its foundation as it was a strategic position to control the entire surrounding area. At about 30 km you will find Ostuni, the pearl of the Valle d'Itria also known as the White city. Its historic centre, of a dazzling and immense white, shows its best with the famous Cathedral that dominates the olive trees plain, the park of the coastal dunes and a crystal clear sea. They narrow alleys are very particular, as well as Piazza della Libertà and S. Oronzo column, that majestically protects the city. Its countryside reaches the heart of Valle d’Itria. Our guests can easily discover the amazing places of our land from here: Ceglie Messapica, historic town with a strong food and wine tradition; Cisternino, known as one of the most beautiful village in Italy; Alberobello, which is famous for its ancient dwellings, Trullos, world heritage since 1996. Going northwards our guests can visit the archaeological park of Egnazia, or perhaps Polignano a Mare and Monopoli, old fishermen villages with evocative historic centres and enchanting beaches. Going further north, guests can find Bari, Eastern threshold, meanwhile going south they can discover Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi and further Lecce, capital of Barocco. Taranto, the heart of Magna Grecia (ancient Greece) is west of Ostuni, and then Matera, particular for its Sassi and nominated European capital of culture for 2019. Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (90 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.
