This newly re-done house offers an amazingly calming retreat. The first level hardwood floors beckon bare feet (or shoe covers, provided), full kitchen, dining area and shared fridge. Ideal for any traveler but especially suited for those 'new to the city' who need a little time to get settled or anyone with university, hospital or sports arena affiliations. Long-term stays are ideal; all are welcomed. There are several public schools and one university in the area (within walking distance), making it ideal for teachers and college students. Living room, Kitchen/dinning area are available. NOTE: We practice COVID safety: These are shared spaces. Kindly allow whomever is using them/it to finish before commencing. My work schedule is extremely flexible; I am available to answer any questions about the city/logistics as needed but will certainly not make a nuisance of myself! We're walking distance to Camden Yards! Historic Pigtown is known for its 'quaint' and eclectic character. Just off the I-95 freeway, the house is a little over a mile from downtown and the Horseshoe Casino, M&T Bank stadium are in walking distance. Carroll Park - right across the street, is great for exercising and has a Par Course. Old Major is the Cheers 'like' bar, Breaking Bread our cozy eatery is a few blocks away. Both venues have several vegan and vegetarian options. Close to the newly renovated 1900's Bath House is a great micro brewery and library. If you are a nature lover (like me), the Gywnn Falls trail picks up in the park and Patapsco State Park is about 4 miles west of the house. The city bus stops in the next bock and operates about every 15 minutes. Ample parking is available along Washington Blvd as well as the side streets. The I-95 Freeway is about half a mile, Greyhound bus station a mile. The MARC train is $3 or so. One way to DC is under $15 and takes 45 minutes. The bedroom has a queen bed, there is a full sized sofa bed in the living room which sleeps two adults comfortably.
