At Jamison House ~ wildlife abounds, hidden swimming spots await, and wide open spaces simply beg guests to BREATHE IN the High Sierra mountain air. Jamison House is especially suited for animal lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and a multitude of winter activities (snowshoeing/snowmobiling/sledding.) A 60x100' riding arena is available for equestrian use, and guests are welcome to (seasonally) harvest from the greenhouse...AND collect their own chicken eggs from the 15 resident hens. This is an animal lovers paradise! A 10x10 outdoor dog kennel is attached to Jamison House. Various animal interactions are (seasonally) available upon request - please inquire about horse boarding availability and animal sitting services, as additional fees apply. We respect your privacy and enjoy leaving guests with the feeling that they have "unplugged" - absolutely no pressure to interact or socialize. Unlike other vacation rentals, it is not in a subdivision, homeowners association with strict rules, situated on a golf course, or downtown. It sits on 5 acres of privately owned rural land outside city limits. Jamison House is pet friendly and suitable for luxury equine retreats (additional fees apply, please inquire.) Jamison House shares property with hosts Tim & Leslie. Your vacation experience and privacy are our top priorities! If so desired by guests, hosts are happy to share information about the area and guidance on things to do locally, based on visitor interests. In addition to Muffin and Richard (two dogs on property,) there are chickens that roam the acreage - the occasional rooster's crow in the morning hours is not uncommon. Wildlife abounds (Website hidden by Airbnb) is suggested NOT to leave any food/garbage outside overnight during your stay. Bear/fox/coyote love to visit Jamison House too!
