VillaK above Saronic Gulf

Registration nr: 00000137716 VillaK is located 5km outside of the ancient town-port of Lavrio at the region of Agios Konstantinos in Eastern Attica. The house is situated in a pine tree forest on a hill on the route from Lavrio to Anavissos, overlooking the Saronic Gulf, a forty-five minutes' drive from the centre of Athens. VillaK is a ground-floor sunny lit house. The outdoor area is complete with a seasonal swimming pool, parking space, a gas barbecue and a large veranda which gives direct access to the wonderful garden consisting of different kinds of local plants and many s.q. meters of lawn. The indoors of the house is designed to make you feel like home. There is 1 living room with a fireplace and a dining area, connected to a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a 24 loft which is connected with a staircase, ideal for relaxation and isolation. There is free wifi internet access, air condition and central heating. Upon arriving at VillaK you will find a welcome basket with Greek traditional home-made products and fruit waiting for you, along with maps of the area and any help you need from us. The area is ideal for visitors who want to combine relaxation on sandy beaches with the opportunity to visit places of archaeological interest, as the entire region of Lavrio and its outskirts is a huge archaeological site. Just a few minutes from VillaK is the National Park of Sounio, the churches of Agios Nektarios, of the Sacred Heart of Jesus(Catholic) and of Agios Konstantinos. Whithin 20 minutes you find yourself at Cape Sounio where the famous temples of Poseidon and Athena stand.(Once there allow yourself to watch one of the most amazing sunsets in Greece!!!) On the opposite direction at the northeast of the town of Lavrio you can visit the ancient theatre of Thorikos which is unique for its oval shape. Last but not least, 5km down the hill from VillaK is the port and the centre of Lavrio where the Mineralogical and Archaeological Museums are. Take a walk along the port which is full of Greek tavernas, cafeterias and bars and enjoy yourself after a long day of sightseeing!!! The port, also, provides direct access to many Greek islands. On the other side down the hill of VillaK, are the regions of Anavissos and Saronida which are ideal for entertainment and relaxation. There are numerous sandy beaches along the coastline with beach bars where you can enjoy your coffee or even your cocktail in the evening. There are facilities for water activities such as windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, water-skiing and many more. The visitors can also have easy access to the Athens airport in just half an hour by car and to the centre of Athens in less than an hour, so for your convenience it is recommended to have a car. The area around VillaK is surrounded by a peaceful pine tree forest which offers many routes for hiking and cycling. Just bring your boots as we offer you the bikes!!!
