Redmond Downtown Retreat

Nice, new home with all the amenities you need for a home-away-from-home stay with alley access and plenty of private parking for 2-3 cars. Centrally located, this home is an easy 2.5 miles to the Redmond airport, 3 miles to Deschutes County Fairgrounds and Expo Center, 15 miles to Smith Rock, 17 miles to Bend, and 20 miles to Sisters. It is an easy walk to several brew pubs and eateries, and to miles of paved and dirt trails, skate park, playground and tennis courts. This is a newly built guest house with one bedroom and another living space with a couch that converts to a second European-sized queen bedroom. There is an additional memory foam topper to place over the couch to make a very comfortable bed (we're picky, and tried it out before we got it to make sure the bed is comfortable- and it is!). We know comfort is key, and hope you will find this home to be so! The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, and even a full set of spices. There is a washer and dryer available for your use. We offer basic breakfast foods: cereal, bread, coffee and tea. You have access to everything in the guest home. There is a small tabletop BBQ out back for your use. I'm happy to interact as much or as little as you'd like. I try to gauge how much interaction our guests would like, but am always open to conversations. My husband and I find joy in meeting our guests, but let them set the tone. Feel free to ask about resources: restaurants, parks, trails and lakes, coffee shops, brew pubs, etc. We've lived in Central Oregon for nearly 20 years, and we're happy to share the inside scoop. This home is in a residential area. Most people use their own vehicle to get around. However, we are in a very walk-friendly area where you have access to multiple restaurants, pubs, library, stores, etc. If needed, we may have a bike or two you could use. The CET is a bus that can transport you around all the towns in Central Oregon. There is a hub about 3/4 of a mile from our house. You can always use Lyft, Uber or a taxi service as well. Access to the guest house is via an alleyway. There is plenty of private parking for two or three cars!
