Set in a quiet location, it’s just a short walk to the centre of the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen. This apartment sleeps 4 - 8 people: Bedroom 1 - 1 double king-size bed Bedroom 2 - 2 bunk beds Common spaces - 2 double sofa beds All beds are European sizes. Bathroom 1 - bathtub and WC Bathroom 2 - shower and WC Apartment location - just 350m to the train station, 300m to the nearest supermarket and 400m to the nursery ski slopes and cable car, access to mountain hiking and local ski areas is just a short walk away! What you should know... Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if you require assistance to your chalet. The 2nd bedroom contains 2 bunk beds for up to 4 people and there is a double sofa bed in the living room for guests 7 and 8. Please note that there is no washing machine available for use in this chalet. But there is a self-service laundromat in the village just 5 minutes (350m) walk away.
