Country getaway to rest or work safely from home during COVID. Newly built, equipped kitchen, bath/laundry. Professionally designed for a safe, peaceful time away. Great trails, theatre, shopping in quaint downtown Port Perry, boating, golfing, equestrian farm, museums, and amazing restaurnts in Port Perry. There is a pond on the property and lots of places to enjoy peace & quiet. We’re on the Skidoo trail and snowshoes avail. 1 hr from TO, 12 min to Port Perry We never ask your health status. There is a small private deck to enjoy a coffee in the morning while you overlook the pond and the farmers field. In the distance is a small grass airstrip you can watch an occasional plane take off or land. It's peaceful and quiet except for the sound of crickets and bullfrogs. In the winter, if the ice is thick enough you can skate. Sorry no children or animals $100 Cleaning Fee. We disinfect the bnb space between our guests and have since we opened in fall of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) You have access to our property for winter activities (snowshoes available) or sitting by the pond in the summer. We also have a fire pit that’s awesome for year round fires- bring your own marshmallows. We're available by text message(prefered) or email during your stay (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Downtown Port Perry offers 5 star restaurants, theatre, walks on the water front and shopping in quaint downtown boutiques. We have a list of favourites that we recommended you book early for. 1) Pickles and Olives 2) Marwan Global 3) Jesters Court 4) Foundry There are some awesome trails near our bnb as well! You can bike, hike or walk in the area. Great trails close by. We are 11k to Port Perry where there is a ton of activities for all seasons. Welcome to the Upper Room Luxury BnB Hi Penny here. Here are some things to know: ******************** Your key code will be revealed to you the day of arrival. ******************* I want to assure you that I personally do the cleaning at our AirBnB. I’m very thorough and have always disinfected surfaces and handles since we opened in September/ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We have taken every precaution for the strict cleaning protocols that are laid out by Airbnb and you can feel safe from the virus. You can rest assured I won’t be canceling on you out of fear of Covid 19. ******************* Please park back in front of the garage doors (right one closest to the stairs) unless other wise instructed. ******************* 1) Info book has most details and house rules (Just inside the front door) 2) Help yourself to everything consumable- it's meant for you. 3) It's a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove/dishwasher..we provided some breakfast items. We supply eggs/English muffins or bagels/butter/milk/cream/juice and light snack(nuts/ popcorn/wrapped cookies) Let us know if you want something special to celebrate a special occasion. 4) White speaker beside the bed under the black lamp -dwnld SONOS app 5) We have an Apple TV-see info book 6) This loft apt has its own hot water tank/furnace/AC .. you set your own comfort levels. Because of our unique set up and design don't share the same air! 7) Please use the squeegee in the shower to reduce soap buildup (The cleaning crew (me) appreciates any help) 8) The toilet is a macerating toilet and when you push either button it fills the bowl up then grinds matter and sends to our septic system... it's very sensitive and cannot grind anything up beyond toilet paper and human waste. As noted on AirBnB site-it's a $ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) repair. 9) Extra blanket & pillow in the closet 10) Extra garbage/Recycle container in the front closet. 11) We live in the country.. and there is a few more bugs out here.. fly swatter is in the furnace room at the end of the bed. The warm weather brings out the flies. 12) When you check out, please put all the linens/towels in the washing machine. 13. There is a $80 cleaning fee 14. No cancellations within 1 week. No exceptions! 15. Sorry- no pets or animals or children. 16) Garbage/recycle/compost days are Friday- please put it all outside so we can combine it with ours THURSDAY NIGHT. 17. No nudity while sunbathing on our property. 18. Please leave the place as you found it. 19. No grease down the drain- please use the soup can provided. It clogs the pipes and the septic. 20. We have a bbq- please CLEAN IT after each use. We have provided a silicone matt to make it easier to clean. You are responsible for cleaning the Matt/utensils/bbq. Please let us know if the propane runs out. 21. The laundry machines are meant too clean the linens only. Please DO NOT BRING LAUNDRY to do while you stay ... there are more exciting things to do in Port Perry than laundry (LOL) Really hope you enjoy your stay you can text me for anything you might need! Because this is part of our house- noise levels drop at 11pm. Because of the design, you won't hear us nor will we hear you.
