Kathy’s Cozy, Waterfront Cottage

Our family has over 100 years of memories here, so it's the perfect spot to make your own. Kathy's Cottage is a small, family-built cottage on the equally quaint Round Lake. You'll be surrounded by open space on all sides so you won't have to worry about neighbors. The lake is spring-fed, giving it the color of something out of a storybook. Directly up the road is Deer Run golf course to get a quick bite or a late drink. It's the perfect place to stretch out and relax for any occasion. Enjoy! The house is an older family home that we recently renovated. We want you're family and friends to be as comfortable as our family has been. So, please make yourself at home. » Feel free to bring your own water toys! » This is a great location for dog lovers and larger family gatherings alike!! » Easy water access and tons of green lawn to wear down the little ones!! » You have complete privacy on all sides!! » Great kitchen for basic cooking and prepping easy meals. » Large TV with access to your favorite streaming services. Whether you’re tuckered out from the water or just want a slower day on the lake!! » Right up the road is Deer Run golf course. It has great burgers, cheap drinks, local vibes, and you can easily walk yourself back to the cottage after a couple drinks. » There's a charcoal grill...on the lake....you know what to do. » Picnic Table as well. » Take advantage of the fire pit. Most kindling can be found in the wooded area, but please bring a bundle of wood if you plan to use it frequently. » Be Cautious: a very narrow staircase leading upstairs. Best for a kid's bedroom as it's an older pull-down ladder that's been converted to a staircase. The entire space is yours!!! The calmness settles over everything. » Deer Run is up the road. Great digs and drinks. They just renovated!! » Jerome Country Market is 7 min. up the road. Great snacks, wood, libations, etc. » Round lake is round. So it's great for dog (and person) walking in the morning. » The lake is so much better with your furry family members, so please keep an eye on them, keep them tethered, and please clean up after them. » Do not park on the side of the house. It's tempting to get close to the door when unloading, but growing grass is hard with cars on it. » No RV's or Tents without prior authorization.
