Kreuzberg, Berlin - ca. 1880 - Beautiful! (Clean!)

A perfect blend of old & new Berlin. Restored to it's 1880 original state - yet with modern touches - it gives the flavor of Berlin in it's finest. Across the street from the historic Görlitzer Park and close to the U1 UBahn train line, the apartment is in a perfect location to explore Berlin! The UBahn (Subway/Metro) & buses are close by. Lots of cafes, restaurants & bars are only a few steps out the front door. This apartment is a 3rd floor walk-up. A great home base for a Berlin experience! The neighborhood and historic Görlitzer Park across the street offer all the amenities you need - restaurants, cafes, bars, live music, transit and more. Wifi, kitchen, safe building, modern appliances. This is my private apartment, but, I travel/tour extensively. The beds are very comfortable & the bathroom is modern and inviting with it's shower AND bathtub. It's warm in the winter and cool in the summer. My eclectic English & German books are available for you to read (please leave in the apartment.) I have a small Bose sound system with iPhone/iPad/iPod connection as well as some board games, including Backgammon etc. In the bedroom is also a multi USB (& USB-C) Charger. The furniture is a mix of old & new and comfortable. Antiques, yes, but useable as well. A couple of warnings: I like a lot of light. I do not use curtains in the big, main room. If you are sleeping in the main room there will be light in the morning. So, short story shorter, if you need Black Out to sleep, this apartment is not for you. This apartment is in a city, and lively part of Berlin. That means that during good weather, when people are out late, it can be noisy at night. When it's warm and the windows are open, you will hear people late into the night. It's not like in the US where every flat has AC and closed windows in the summer.
