Lavender Cottage featured in Country Homes and Interiors magazine, and 25 Beautiful Homes and we were proud to be a part of an article in the Times newspaper, “Britains best 50 holiday cottages.” The Cottage is a romantic Grade II listed property which is stunningly presented… it’s luxury all the way! Just kick off your shoes, relax, unwind… and enjoy! Lavender Cottage is in the heart of Iburndale, a small hamlet on the edge of Sleights. The picturesque village is five mins walk away and has two pubs, general store, butchers with delicatessen, bakers, tea shop, fish and chip shop and post office. Just next door is the village of Ruswarp with rowing boats on the River Esk and tempting tea shops. A few minutes away is Whitby, recently voted "Best Day Out" in tourism awards, with a full range of shops, restaurants, galleries, services and entertainments. We are sorry, but Lavender Cottage is not pet friendly.
