A sheltered private courtyard is perfect for evening barbecues. At high tide, you can enjoy a bathe in the unusually warm waters. At low tide, explore this unique bay's protected habitat, or collect your own cockles for supper. You can even try one of the special guided tours or walks in this exceptional setting. From the house you can take the coast path in either direction: to the picturesque port of Cancale or past the world heritage site of Mont Saint-Michel, well worth at least a day's visit. A wide variety of activities is available locally, including sand yachting, go karting and riding; and it is an excellent place for kite and wind surfers. The simple, local, waterfront cafés have fresh seafood on offer. The coast of Normandy and the historic war cemeteries are also within easy reach for a day out.
