The ARBORA VILLAS is a unique complex of 3 villas, covering an area of 12.000 square meters. They are located near Skaleta, only 15 minutes from the city of Rethymno. The olive tree is the main inspiration for the villas. Both the olive tree and its product, the olive oil, are strongly connected with this unique island. ARBORA means crop. And the crop is the most sacred moment of the produce: the moment when the Cretan land generously offers its fruit to the man. Each of the three villas has been named so as to pay tribute to selected varieties of this valuable produce: KORONEIKI, TSOUNATI and AGRIELIA. The three identical villas offer an amazing view of the Cretan mountains. The outside area is surrounded by a rich 12 acre olive grove, which gives an authentic sense of the area to the visitor. The most special time of the day is the sunset, when the sun hides majestically behind the mountains. At night, the spectacularly illuminated outdoor area will take your breath away. The aesthetics of the area harmoniously combines Cretan tradition with state-of-the-art comforts. The decoration includes canvases with traditional agricultural scenes in olive groves. Each villa has its own Jacuzzi, as well as two large pools connected to each other with an impressive waterfall. The interior of the villas is separated in three levels. On the ground floor there is a living room and a kitchen, one bedroom, as well as two rooms with hygiene facilities (one of them ideal for people with disabilities). On the upper floor there is a picturesque attic bedroom with a freestanding bathtub. On the lower level there are two bedrooms, as well as a room with a washing machine and a tumble drier. The bedrooms of the lower floor lead to an open balcony. Every bedroom has its own en suite toilet and is fully air conditioned. The visitor gets a sense of a minimal aesthetics with discrete touches of traditional culture. In each one of the villas up to 10 people can reside comfortably.
