Summary: Willow Barn is a stunning newly renovated property located on the fringe of Windermere Village and just a short drive or leisurely walk into the popular tourist town. Windermere is well known for its ever growing cafe culture, independent shops and cosmopolitan bars. Willow barn is available as a sleeps four property but benefits from also being self contained as two one bedroom properties with its own kitchen and living facilities. Ideal if you want a break away with friends or family but enjoy the comfort of your own space. The Space: Willow Barn offers a fantastic open plan living, dining space with country inspired kitchen plus a cosy lounge area with a handcrafted media wall and large smart tv. The large suite located at the top of the property has far reaching views to the countryside beyond as well as a large velux window to watch the stars. The ensuite shower room has a large walk in power shower. Downstairs the property has another fully contained suite which can be accessed internally, including its own kitchen and lounge area. A cosy king bedroom sits off the living room and even has its own electric blinds so no arguments as to who needs to shut the curtains, another shower room is also found on this level. This part of the barn also features its own entrance and spacious terrace in order to have morning coffee or a glass of something chilled on a warm summers evening. Guest Access: Guests have use of the whole property at Willow Barn including the lower patio as well as a shared communal lawn area at the front of the property. The Neighborhood: Located near to the hamlet of Heaning Mislet, the property is ideally located for visiting the popular Lake District towns of Windermere, Ambleside & Grasmere. There are also many fantastic walks directly from the property. Getting Around: The property is located in a semi rural location so a car is usually the best way to visit (Willow Barn has parking for two cars). Although Windermere station is just a short bus / taxi journey away. Interaction with Guests: We live off site but are available 24/7 should you need anything during your stay at all.
