About the property In an exceptional location, just a short walk from the centre of Dartmouth and the waterfront, Britannia 19 is a four-bedroom holiday home that sleeps up to eight people. For 2022 we will now accept 1 dog at the property subject to a fee and agreement to the house rules. To make the most of the views, the property is configured with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living space upstairs. Walk in and there’s space for shoes and coats to be placed neatly out of the way before leaving beach paraphernalia in the utility room. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, two with king-sized beds (one with an en suite shower room), and one with bunk beds. The family bathroom is also located downstairs, complete with a bath and overhead shower. Upstairs you are greeted by a light, airy, open plan living, kitchen, dining area with glimpses of the River Dart. The property has been stylishly refurbished with modern interiors, fixtures, and fittings for optimum comfort. They include a wood burner for cooler times of the year. The fourth bedroom is upstairs, offering a super king or 2 single beds with an en suite shower room. Meanwhile, guests delight in the balcony – perfect for convivial evenings with friends and family and featuring a table, chairs, and barbecue. It’s helpful to know that the property is just a short walk from the nearby Mayors Avenue car park and comes with a complimentary parking pass for one car. Recommended for: The space within the house, as well as its location make it extremely versatile – ideal for families as well as friends. Favourite feature: The location of Britannia 19 means you have easy access to everything that Dartmouth has to offer just a short stroll away, including shops, cafes, art galleries and restaurants. Need to know: Parking comes at a premium in Dartmouth, making the car park pass a real asset for visiting guests.
