Eco house in a gated historic Electric Wharf development full of light and decorated to a high Scandinavian standard throughout. Each of the 4 bedrooms has 1 double sized bed with 2000 pocket springs to ensure good sleep. Good sized living room with optional sofa bed and a dining table, with a separate kitchen fully equipped for your stay. In case of rush in private space demand, it has a a modern bathroom/shower and an ensuite room. Free wifi is available at your disposal. All the linens, towels, tea and coffee are provided for you. We welcome business and leisure travellers to stay to have a real 'home from home' experience when staying in Coventry. Check-in times are from 3pm to 8pm daily. Early or later arrivals are accepted (with a minimum 48hrs advance notice). The power station played a central role to the prosperity of the City. Not only did it use the coals from local pits, it served the growing needs of companies like Daimler, Standard and Coventry Eagle. Electric Wharf is a family based and student residential area so people are friendly enjoying their peaceful time here. Guests are encouraged to adopt similar spirit and respect the neighbourhood to enjoy the welcoming neighbourhood. The city centre is a 10-15 minutes drive away either along the main road (depending on where you want to go to) with shops, restaurants, theatre, Cathedral, museums, ice rink, sports centre, swimming pool, etc - A short 20 minutes walk to the city centre or a few minutes drive - There are also buses that run into the city centre from outside the gated development. - The train station is only 10-15 minutes drive away or 30 minutes walk. If you have luggage, I would recommend taking Uber as it cost less than £4. Nearby: - The Ricoh Arena is a 15 minute drive (Home of Wasps Rugby and CCFC) - The NEC is a 25 minute drive, or 10 minutes from Coventry train station - Birmingham city center is 20 minutes on the train or a 30 minute drive - We're also a short drive away from the towns of Ruby, Kenilworth, Warwick, Stratford-upon-avon, Nuneaton and Royal Leamington Spa. Good news is nothing else to worry about!
