Surrounded by mountains and bordered by streams, the house is newly built and stocked with all the modern comforts. In the main cabin, on the first floor, you'll find an open plan living room with 2 dining areas for 12, a well stocked kitchen, and 2 cozy sitting areas with woodstove. In the bathroom, relax in our extra deep Japanese soaking tub. Love to bathe outside? You'll enjoy our pleasant outdoor shower. there is a wonderful 7 person hot tub as well. Upstairs you'll find two roomy bedrooms, a half bath, and a sleep loft (accessible with library ladder). All guests should sleep comfortably on our memory foam mattresses! Family travel: there is a baby cot available at the cabin as well. Off the back of house is a newly built addition! The annex contains a large bedroom, with private porch, couch/tv area, and as well a ladder up to a sleep loft. both with Casper memory foam queen mattresses. There is also a satellite bedroom nearby in lower field (the 70's Dodge Van) which has been retrofitted as a modern comfy queen bedroom with huge deck and fire ring. Outside the views go on forever and the peace and quiet is priceless. All of this privacy is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the charming hamlet of Phoenicia, recently named one of Budget Travel Magazines "Coolest Small Towns." Looking to ski? We are just 15 minutes from Hunter. Wildlife galore: Deer, Black Bear, Bobcat, coyote, turkey, pheasant, porcupine, mountain lion. There is also a 40 foot vegetable garden on property which house guests have access to. Come join us in our woods!
