SUMMARY Villa Verde is located inside the Wyndham Río Mar Grand Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The 2nd story villa has striking views of El Yunque National Rainforest, a communal family-friendly pool, and is a short drive to the beach, golf, tennis, and local restaurants. Villa Verde includes a 4 person golf cart to easily explore the resort grounds. The Wyndham hotel, within the resort, has various restaurants, a spa, and a casino that Villa Verde guests can enjoy. Villa Verde is within striking distance of some of the best beaches, rainforests, and tours the island has on offer. Please note guests are not authorized to use Wyndham Hotel amenities and facilities. Nonetheless, guests only have access to the Iguana's Cocina Puertoriqueña Restaurant, Hotel Casino & Spa with prior reservations. LIVING AREAS Enter Villa Verde and you are greeted by the living room with ample seating for the group and direct access to the balcony with stunning views of the El Yunque National Rainforest. The villa has ceiling fans throughout and central AC so you can decide whether you prefer the Caribbean breeze or a cooler air-conditioned atmosphere. The balcony has a four-person outdoor dining table with rocking chairs, ideal for a relaxing morning coffee or conversation with friends overlooking the sunset. The dining room has seating for six and is conveniently located between the kitchen and balcony. BEDROOMS The master bedroom has one king bed, a spacious bathroom with a double sink, and a large walk-in closet. There is a seating area where you can read a book or relax after a long day at the beach. The master bedroom also has direct access to the balcony. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. All rooms have a dedicated full bathroom. KITCHEN Villa Verde has a very large and comfortable open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, and toaster. The dining table, which seats six, is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one large social event. There is also access to the balcony from the dining area which you can open to allow the breeze in while cooking up or enjoying a delicious meal. We can help you plan a hike or participate in a zip-line adventure. Experience the glowing waters on a nightly kayak tour in the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo. Taste the local flavors at the staple kiosks in nearby Luquillo – right next to the beach. Go on horseback or a four-track ride off the beaten path in Carabali Rainforest Park. Play a round of golf at the Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Course or any of the neighboring nearby courses like Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club in the Rio Grande or El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo. GETTING AROUND Villa Verde includes a 4 person golf cart you can use to explore the resort grounds and amenities. That said, we strongly recommend renting a full-size car as there is a multitude of activities within a 30-minute drive which you will not want to miss out on. AMENITIES: West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay. HOUSE RULES Check-in time is at 4:00 pm Check-out time is at 11:00 am NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated. NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property. All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first. Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. Do not hang towels or clothes from the balcony or windows. Do not wash white towels with colored beach towels. Any damaged towels will be charged from the security deposit. Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property. Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged. Subletting not allowed The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used.
