From the moment you enter the Garland Park security gates, flanked with weeping cherry trees, you enter another world. Meander through the front garden of established trees and shrubs via mondo lined sandstone paths to the expansive entry area of the home. Once inside, you will find a beautifully decorated home with banks of windows that invite the expansive 2-acre garden in. There are large comfortable entertaining areas, a stunning slow combustion wood heater, a dining table that seats 12 and a library shelf with reading nook. The kitchen and walk-in pantry are generously equipped for all your catering needs and include both DeLonghi and Nespresso coffee machines. Garland Park offers a flexible sleeping configuration in four bedrooms with two queen rooms, a twin room and a master suite with a king bed that can be configured as two singles if requested at the time of booking. There is also additional sleeping for two in the lounge with a single sofa bed and trundle. The partially covered timber deck provides fantastic alfresco living that spills onto the lawns and parklike grounds. Wander down the gently sloping lawns in the dappled light provided by mature stands of native trees adjacent to the Morton National Park. There is a level cleared area with a firepit from which to enjoy the night sky. A natural watercourse runs through the garden and attracts a myriad of birdlife and native fauna, including kangaroos, wombats and Lyrebirds that dance at dusk. Just a short drive from this quiet no through road is the Bundanoon village with cafes, pizza, Chinese and bakery for casual meals. For a more formal dining experience, The Dining Room at Bundanoon Guest House is not to be missed be sure to leave enough time for a fireside drink before or after your meal. Garland Park is ideal for large families or groups wanting to explore the local and award-winning wineries, local cycle races (of which there are many), car rallies and collectors gatherings, not to mention Brigadoon and Highland Flings or functions being held at Montrose Berry Farm or Sylvan Glen. To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort. Please note that access to the national park from the garden of this property is currently closed to the public due to trees weakened by bushfires and other structures being damaged. **Notes:** Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email. This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy. Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks. Wi-fi is not guaranteed. This is a service offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge for this service, we will attempt to fix issues as they arise but cannot be held accountable. Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure. If we had more properties in our management portfolio we could easily get them booked. Demand is high and supply just can’t keep up.
