Martina is a small village within Mošćenička Draga. The place is ideal as a starting point for exploring both Kvarner and Istria. Neighboring Brseč is a medieval village located on a cliff on the slopes of Učka. It consists of houses from the 17th century, on some of which can still be seen inscriptions in Glagolitic, Old Slavic script from the middle of the 9th century, while Kaštel, its walls, fortifications and the church bell tower belong to the early Middle Ages. One of the sights you can visit in Brseč is the birth house of the Croatian writer Eugen Kumičić, which has been turned into a library and gallery, where famous local and foreign artists exhibit. There is also a small Church of St. Magdalene, located on a cliff with an unforgettable view. The beaches of this area are considered one of the most beautiful on the Adriatic.
