Comfortable 1930's red-brick historic home conveniently located in the charming town of Franklinton. Enjoy your morning coffee outside on the patio or walk to a cafe. The stars shine bright at night without the glare of big-city lights. Bogue Chitto State Park, Zona ATV recreation park, Global Wildlife Center, LA Serendipity Vineyards, tubing, canoeing, local history museums, festivals, and other activities are located nearby. New Orleans French Quarter is only 1 1/2 hrs away! This home was built in the 1930’s by the present owners’ great grandparents. There are tons of happy memories and joy associated with it. We hope you enjoy your time here and make happy memories too. Guests will have access to the whole house (not the attic) which includes 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, dining room, kitchen, living room, tv room, sun porch and the big yard. We’re not at the house but are available by phone or text. We’re in the middle of a small town so fast food, cafes, grocery stores, and other businesses are just a few minutes away. We’re also only an hour and a half away from New Orleans or Baton Rouge. There’s ample parking for guests. No public transit but there are places to eat within walking distance.
