Beaver Bay -- Great Lake Superior View

My place is between Split Rock Lighthouse and Tettegouche State Park. The Superior Hiking Trail and Gitchi Gami bike trail are within 1/2 mile of our back door. We are right on the ATV/Snowmobile Trail spur. Gardens and grounds are shared with us and include a picnic table and fire pit. Trails on the hillside lead to a Lake viewing bench with 180' views. Our place, on the hillside in Beaver Bay, has fantastic views of Lake Superior. Snowmobile/ATV trails can be accessed right from our driveway. Spectacular views and invigorating exercise are just outside the door. The apartment is above our garage (access is through private outside door, and up a set of stairs). It has an open living/kitchen/dining area. A separate bedroom has queen-size bed and a large closet. The bathroom has a shower. In the living area there is a sofa bed for additional guests (some guests have said the sofa bed is not too comfortable--keep in mind, it is a sofa bed). In the kitchen there is everything you need for preparing your own meals, or, you can easily walk to one of the restaurants in Beaver Bay. The apartment is above our 3 stall garage. There is a separate entrance to access the apartment. One must be able to walk upstairs to access the apartment. Complete privacy is available, but we are generally available to chat or provide information and history about the area. Guests can wander through our yards and gardens or hike trails to the top of our hillside. During this time of Covid-19, we will only be available with social distancing. We live in the home attached to the front of the garage and are available to show you hiking trails and to provide other information about the local area. We are between Split Rock State Park & Tettegouche State Park. The Gitchi-Gami State Trail is 3 blocks away --Superior Hiking Trail is 1/4 mile away --Snowmobile/ATV Spur Trail access is at the corner of our property No public transport The apartment is on the second level, above the garage. One must be able to walk up and down stairs to access the apartment. May be able to hear the garage door go up and down--if sensitive to sounds, this may be disturbing. We do have WIFI, but periodically our provider, Mediacom, has issues with service. I cannot guarantee that WIFI will always be available. If you have toddlers or infants that you don't trust on stairs, you should bring along a stair guard and other equipment that your child may require. Beaver Bay requires a conditional use permit for our AirBNB. Our permit allows a maximum of 4 guests. Infants and children are included in the maximum allowable number of guests. Our place is most enjoyable for 1, 2 or 3 adults plus 1 - 2 children/infants. Two couples, or 4 adults, usually find our place too crowded and not as enjoyable. FOUR MAXIMUM GUESTS NO SMOKING NO PETS -- no exceptions.
