When we say BEACHFRONT, we mean absolute beachfront! The PRINCESS BUILDING sits smack dab on the beach in the photos, It's the most beautiful beach on Oahu--awesome! Away from the crowds--like OLD HAWAII where the Aloha Spirit is alive and well! This unit has not been remodeled as recently as our other condos—the rate reflects that. It has carpet instead of tile and a queen bed rather than a king bed as our other units have. Although the condo is somewhat dated, it has all the same amenities and equipment, and is SUPER CLEAN just like the rest of our condos. So if you are looking for a squeaky clean condo right on the beach but don’t need fancy—this might be just the perfect condo for you. **PLEASE NOTE: The Princess AC is a water-cooled, roof-mounted central system, BUT it is NOT like the Mainland AC you may be accustomed to, meaning it will NEVER get super cold--simply not that kind of design. The great majority of folks are very comfortable when everything is left open letting our wonderful trade winds, great cross-ventilation, ceiling fans , and stand fans keep the condo fresh with tropical breezes! If you require super cold AC, this may not be the condo for you. A secured 16-floor building (2 elevators) with pool, hot tub, tennis, and outside BBQ area. Our MEDIUM LEVEL FLOOR condo in a 16-story building is one-bedroom/one-bath with a lovely lanai--unparalleled 180º ocean/sunset view. PERFECT VIEW!!! FREE PARKING IN GATED LOT and FREE INTERNET/WiFi Queen bedroom (MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS) and queen-size sleep sofa WITH MEMORY FOAM DREAM TOPPER in living room! There is also a Hawaiian-style single floor-futon. Fully furnished kitchen with full-size appliances and all the necessities. Bathroom has tub/shower combo. We supply all dishes, pots 'n pans, silverware, toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, icemaker, and a blender for making those onolicious Hawaiian fruit smoothies. We also have a dishwasher, 2 TVs, 2 DVDs, portable AC in bedroom, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, iron/board, all linens (including beach towels), hair dryer, beach chairs, mats, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach umbrella, and cooler. There is a washer/dryer in unit. TV in bedroom. We even provide binoculars for in-condo use--watch right from your lanai as the whales (in season), dolphins, and giant sea turtles put on a show! ALL OUR CONDOS ARE NON-SMOKING! NO PETS! PRINCESS IS A SMOKE-FREE COMPLEX! Smoking is NOT ALLOWED in the units, on the lanais, in/at the corridors, elevators, pool, rec room, BBQ area, or in the lobby! Smoking is permitted ONLY in areas 25' or more from the building. There is a designated smoking area with umbrella table and chairs located well away from the building. We also have other VRBO-listed BEACHFRONT condos in same BEACHFRONT building that offer 30-day minimum rentals at discount rates--just ask us! Makaha is on the non-touristy side of Oahu--very much "old Hawaii" Our location is out on the beautiful Leeward Coast with its beautiful beaches.  This is NOT a touristy location, and it is about a 45-minute to an hour's drive, depending entirely on traffic, to Waikiki, Honolulu, & attractions..  There are lots of fast food and ethnic restaurants in Makaha with fine dining only 20 minutes away at Ko'Olina and Au'Lani Disney Hotel. Kapolei is about 20-25  minutes away, and has MANY restaurants and great shopping.  All major attractions are a good drive away from condos; there is a water park in Kapolei.   World-famous Makaha Surfing Beach (home to international surfing competition) is just a very short hop down the coast.
