Sunset Lodge is the perfect family fun holiday! Located right on the edge of Dora Creek in Lake Macquarie, this home is perfect for families and water lovers who want to spend their holiday relaxing and swimming in the sun. With a private inground mineral pool overlooking the creek, this unique lodge style home is perfect for those looking to get away and spend their time swimming, boating, fishing, paddle boarding, or kayaking. This property boasts a deep water wharf where you can moor your boat or jet skis. The public boat ramp located just 200m away (see picture below. Its only 200m by water but 6km by car). Enjoy a swim in the sparkling pool overlooking the creek, sunbath on the wooden wharf, sunsets around the fire pit, all while watching the boats go by. This lodge-style home will make you feel a world away from busy city life with its cathedral wooden ceilings, exposed beams and beautiful views. This home sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a veranda. It connects to the two-way main bathroom with a shower and bath. The two other bedrooms have queen beds. All bedrooms and living areas have ceiling fans. This home has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, coffee machine, and utensils. There are 2 living areas; an upstairs lounge with a Smart TV and a downstairs rumpus room with a Smart TV and ping pong table so everyone can enjoy their own space. There are also multiple outdoor living areas. The upstairs living room has dining and lounge areas opening out to a beautiful deck that overlooks the pool and creek - a perfect place to enjoy an afternoon glass of wine or read a book. There is a BBQ area downstairs, a great place for a BBQ and sit around the pool. Please note: this property does have a private boat ramp, but it is not suitable to launch boats. It is suitable to launch kayaks, or paddleboards. Dora Creek Boat Ramp is located just an 8-minute drive from the property or 200m by boat. NO PARTIES PERMITTED- Please ensure outside noise is ceased by 9.30pm, indoor noise by 10.30pm and pool and fire pit use by 9pm. NO other visiting guests permitted and guest numbers strictly enforced Please note: This self-contained home is booked exclusively for your use, it is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and we have contactless check-in and check-out to help you have a Safe-Stay. You will be required to complete a guest registration before check-in, this will involve providing your credit card details for security reasons, no charges will apply unless damages occur.
