Kitchen updated October, 2020!!! This gorgeous Victorian 6-Bedroom/ 3Bath home is located just a few minutes' walk from downtown San Anselmo on a tree lined street. Built in the late 1890s and lovingly restored in 1999, with the additional kitchen updates completed in Fall 2020. The living room opens to a large formal dining room creating the perfect spaces to be together along with an expansive front porch to relax and socialize. This spacious home provides an intimate atmosphere to share with close friends and family. Per Airbnb policy, events are parties are not allowed in this listing. The campus and the Town of San Anselmo have strict noise requirements, with quiet time hours from 10pm to 8am. Features • Six large bedrooms • Three full baths • Fully equipped, eat-in, gourmet kitchen with six-burner Viking range and large center island • Comfortable living room with an oversized, working fireplace • Large, formal dining room • Wireless internet access and basic cable • Large covered porch for extra seating • Nonsmoking campus • Designated off-street parking spot • Check-in is at 3 p.m., and checkout is at 10 a.m. The whole house is accessible to guests, except the laundry room. There is ramp access to the back door and one disabled-access restroom on the first floor. The house does not have an elevator. Our offices are just a few minutes' walk from the Guest House and we are here Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. If you have any questions or would like some recommendations during your stay, please pay us a visit. We are always delighted to help. We also have on-call support staff that are available in case of emergency. San Anselmo is known as the antique capital of California, and also the birthplace of California Mountain Biking. The town is a picturesque community, filled with cozy cafes, beautiful boutiques, and delicious restaurants. The town is friendly and very walkable. Fun Fact: San Anselmo was the longtime home of George Lucas (he now lives a few miles up 101). Visit the statues of Yoda and Indiana Jones (both franchises were created here in San Anselmo) downtown in Imagination Park. The land was donated by Lucas for a central, town park! The House has its own parking. Transportation to/from SFO and OAK airports is provided by shuttle services - Marin Airporter and Marin Door to Door. Once here, Golden Gate Transit offers both bus and ferry service (SF Ferry Terminal to Larkspur Landing) in Marin County. For larger parties arriving from the airport, charter buses are recommended. There is public transit in Marin but we recommend renting a car (if it's in your budget), or using Uber. Grocery stores, restaurants, and more all within ten minutes' walk. Public transit (bus) is a short walk down the street from the house. Please ask us for more information specific to your travel needs. This home is located on a quiet street in a peaceful setting and is more suited to quiet stays. Additionally, the town of San Anselmo has Quiet Hours that begin at 10pm. Per Airbnb policy there are no events or gatherings allowed. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING ON THE STREETS OF SAN ANSELMO. PARKING INFORMATION Daytime parking is unlimited in legal parking spots around town. Overnight parking is only allowed: •In the (1) designated, labeled, parking spot on the side of the Guest House. (Do not block driveway) •Along Kensington Rd., between Bolinas Ave. and Austin Ave.***(very close) •The curb cut-out spots on Waverley Rd. behind the playhouse. •Along Seminary Rd. (up the hill on the right side) •The parking lot at the top of the hill •The parking lot by the Community Garden (on Seminary Road coming down the hill). Parking overnight along any other street, or in fire lanes, is prohibited and you may be ticketed by Marin Parking Authority. UOR is not responsible for ticketed or towed vehicles.
