La Guardia Airport - 5 min bus ride. One bedroom available, basic TV and free WI-FI, one block from park and local shops. Five minutes from La Guardia Airport, easy transportation to the city. Close to major Highways. My place is super clean and full of good energy and vibes, designed to make your stay comfortable. East Elmhurst is a pretty diverse and fun neighborhood to be in, bordering Astoria, Flushing, Jackson Heights, Corona, all diverse, fun neighborhoods. Only 5 minutes from the newly-renovated world class La Guardia Airport, it offers anything you can think of. In close proximity to amazing restaurants and cafes where you can find anything from Indian to Latin American, taste some of the best Thai, Viet, or Greek foods around NYC with local communities making their own food. Elmhurst hospital is about 10 min away, located in the heart of Elmhurst, which was named "the most diverse neighborhood in the world”, with up to 173 different nationalities living here, alongside neighboring Jackson Heights, arguably considered the “Capital of Queens". Within 2 miles are Ditmars "Astoria Heights” and Flushing Meadows, a 900-acre park and home of the US Tennis Open and NY Mets. In terms of transportation, there are many options. Grand Central Parkway is about 0.5 miles away, BQE (Brooklyn-Queens Expressway) about 0.4 miles away. Northern Blvd is within walking distance. Several buses go to the major transit center at 74th st/Roosevelt in Jackson Heights, where you can fulfill all your shopping needs. Manhattan is about (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) mins away from home via subway, from 74th street station you can take the E,F,R,M, or 7 subway lines or the Q32 bus will take you to the heart of the city. Several buses within 5 blocks from my home run pretty often: Q (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and M60. There is also a beautiful park full of trees 1 block from my place and the area is pretty safe and quiet. Getting around is very easy around here as you will find 3 or 4 buses running within blocks away from my place. 1 block away: Q33 2 blocks away: Q49 1/2 block away: Q19 4 blocks away: M60 (Directly to Manhattan! and from/to La Guardia Airport) 3 blocks away: Q47 Most of these buses will take you to Jackson Heights where you can find a big major subway station: E,F,R,M,7 trains will take you to Manhattan, Brooklyn and anywhere in Queens. This is also a big bus station where you can find buses going to all the different areas in Queens. If you drive, there is very easy off-street parking available and there are major highways within the 1/2 mile radius : The Grand Central will take to Manhattan/Bronx (trough the Triboro Bridge), or Long Island if you take it heading East. The BQE will take you to Brooklyn and some other areas of Queens as well.
