The Space: The property is located on the 2nd floor, accessed via a communal staircase which accesses both apartments. Enter into a useful hallway great for putting on walking boots before a day on the fells. Off the Hall a comfortable living room with wood burning stove provides a relaxing space to unwind with wonderful views to the vistas of the Lake District mountains above the rooftops of Ambleside. An Open Plan Living Dining area offers a bright and airy space to cook a light breakfast, dinner for two or a place to plan your walks from the large table overlooking the fell views. A Bathroom is located in the middle of the apartment with a corner shower, to the rear is a comfortable bedroom with a double bed. Guest Access: You will have access to the whole property throughout your stay and we provide a contact free check in with access codes provided 2 days prior to your arrival. The Neighborhood: Located in the heart of Ambleside, Lanty Scar has restaurants, bars and shops directly from the doorstep! We love the fact that once you arrive you may not need to move the car again as many walks can start from the front door, alternatively a frequent bus service can take you to other areas of the Lake District. Getting Around: The property has a parking permit parking for one car which can be used in all South Lakeland District Council car parks. The property is on a major bus route and Windermere station is just a 15min journey away. Other Things to Note: The best thing about being central is that everything that the popular town of Ambleside has to offer is on your doorstep, good quality double glazing is installed but there may be a little noise at prime times.
