Get away from it all here! Rustic views, hiking, birding, and wonderful quiet solitude can be found here. This modern home is built on top of a mountain owned by our family for generations. Comfortable simple living deep in the Appalachian hills. I live here with my dog and garden some and roast coffee when I am not working. Coffee smell could be the best attraction! There are three bedrooms with shared bathroom upstairs, two available. This room has a queen bed, closet and view of the sunset. Sixty acres of woodland and old strip mine. Wifi, kitchen, porches, and deck. No TV signal, view dvd's and Internet. I am pretty busy so will not be home most days. Evenings are usually spent at home. Quiet rural setting with amazing night sky! The full moon is particularly beautiful out here with no lights. Drive slowly as roads are scenic but hazardous. Larger town of Hazard is 11 miles away.
