Bonnie Valley Retreat is a lovely 4 bedroom, 2-bathroom home located within the quiet hills of Bonnie Doon (Woodfield). Accommodating up to 10 guests, it is suitable for multiple families wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living. With two living areas plus dining, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, great undercover entertainment area and endless outdoor room, you won’t be disappointed upon arrival to this fantastic rural holiday home. Bonnie Valley Retreat is just 3.5kms off the Maroondah Hwy, and approx 20 mins drive to Mansfield Township, 40 mins to the Mt Buller Entry Gates and 10 mins to the closest boat ramp of Lake Eildon The main bedroom boasts a King Size bed with a walk in robe and ensuite Bedrooms 2 & 3 have a Queen bed in each whilst the fourth bedroom has two sets of single bunks – perfect for the kids. Cook up a storm in the kitchen which is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge, electric oven plus crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. In the warmer months, wander to the water’s edge of Lake Eildon and have fun in the sun. Take a walk along the Victorian Rail Trail, Visit the Mansfield Zoo or play in the botanical gardens with a family picnic. Alternatively, relax at the home and watch the kids play in the fresh air kicking a footy, playing backyard cricket or watch them enjoy being entertained on the play equipment. All whilst you sit back and enjoy a nice cold drink while the BBQ sizzles away. In winter take the drive to Mt Buller and enjoy a day at the snow knowing you will come back to a warm and cosy home where you can relax on the couch by the crackling of the wood fire reading a book or watching a movie.... The kids can enjoy their own space and downtime in the second living area with large screen TV & DVD. For the avid walker and explorer, feel free to take a walk (hike) up the back hill to watch the sunrise, sunsets and stargaze into the clearest of night skies. (just remember to shut the gates) Apart from being one of the best locations for water activities, there are many nearby attractions including horse riding, cycling, 4-wheel driving, motor bike riding, markets, plus much more and with an abundance of wildlife, great fishing and a relaxing atmosphere, you won't want to leave!
