With the beach cruiser, which you can borrow from us for free, it takes no more than 10 minutes and over the highway one is there by car in 3 minutes. Even though you are so close to the Atlantic Ocean, we feel like we are out in the country, away from the hustle and bustle of beach life. Our surf camp is an open house, d. H. In Praia da Areia Branca, there are also some cheap restaurants and on request we go to dinner with you in other nice places in the area. There are also often spontaneous barbecues or campfire sessions. Since we ourselves are Portuguese, sometimes come by friends of us, who sit down with the campfire. Then it happens quite often that someone suddenly gets a guitar out and the evening goes much longer than planned. But there are also some very nice party excursion destinations in the area, to which we like to take you in our shuttle bus. After all, you should not only learn surfing, but also get to know something of the nice Portuguese nightlife. Surroundings: Praia da Areia Branca, 65 km north of Lisbon, is a typical seaside resort of the Portuguese with little foreign tourism. The dreamlike long sandy beach offers with its many surf spots a lot of waves for every surfer. Lonely beaches without other surfers can be found after a short walk in the adjacent bays. Praia da Areia Branca is located just 15 km south of the port town of Peniche, whose beaches are the best surfing area in Europe. The waves of the legendary Surfspots Supertubos or Lagido are ridden by surfers from all over the world. Our shuttle bus will take you to the best waves and beautiful beaches in the area. Some of the nearby bays are so-called Secret Spots, whose location is reluctant to be divulged by the locals (local surfers). In Praia da Areia Branca there is a beautiful beach promenade with many small cafes and good restaurants. The place is particularly suitable for families with young children, as there is a very nice and manageable nightlife and the contact with the locals is very easy. The express bus between Peniche and Lisbon stops here every hour. Getting there: The nearest airport is in Lisbon, about 65 km north of our surf camp. From there it is very easy to get to Praia da Areia Branca by express bus for only 12 € / person. We will then pick you up from the bus stop for free.
