Summary: This modern and well equipped apartment has fantastic high ceilings and offers generous space. The large and cool open living area with calming blue tones and deluxe furnishings is a great space to relax after a long day or enjoy with your guests. Both bedrooms have ensuites and wardrobes so you can unpack your bags and feel at home. Sitting right above the Viaduct and only 5 minutes from Commercial Bay and Britomart this is a prime location to explore the city! The Space: This lovely spacious apartment emanates a relaxing energy, with high ceilings and cool blue tones flowing through the interiors. The large, open living area is a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy, cooking and dining together, watching movies or open up the balcony doors and unwind outside in the cool shade beneath the trees. The TV has live freeview channels and Netflix (account not provided). The kitchen is fully equipped and incredibly spacious, it has everything you need to prepare your favourite meal or try out a new recipe! The large bench doubles as a bar with leaners on the other side so you can enjoy your guests company while you cook. Serve dinner at the lovely dining table so you can end your day all together! Both bedrooms are very generous in size and feature full ensuites and wardrobes. The beds are indulgent and are accompanied by high quality linens to give that sun kissed, crisp feeling and help you get a restful night sleep. *Please note that the first bedroom (next to the kitchen) has thick, textured glass wall with no curtains, you cannot see into the room clearly but it is still translucent. This room is at the back of the property so there wont be a problem with it being too light when all the lights are off. There is a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and other cleaning products for your convenience during your stay. Guest Access: The space is all yours! But we are available via email and messaging if you need anything at all :) The Neighborhood: Sitting just above the Viaduct and only a 5 minute walk from Commercial bay and Britomart this is a a prime location for exploring the CBD. The Viaduct is buzzing with fancy restaurants, bars and nightlife surrounding the marina - it's a vibrant treat! There are many highlights and conveniences neighbouring the Viaduct making it a breeze for you to see the best parts of the city. See the immediate area by foot or scooter or zoom across the bridge to Wynyard Quarter and Silo Park where you will find cafes and bars, the fish market, a basketball court and playground for the kids! Commercial Bay and Britomart are just a 5-minute walk, you can find shopping for all ages and tastes at these hot spots, you will stumble upon hundreds of food and dining options with great takeaway choices at Harbour Eats in Commercial Bay and fine dining experiences in Britomart. Getting Around: The location is fantastic for walking and exploring the nearby attractions, with beautiful walks around the waterfront leading you to spectacular views with restaurants along the way, Shopping malls and experiences at commercial bay and Britomart and the sky tower just up the road! If you need to get further out of the city there are bus stops all around you with multiple destinations and the Britomart transport hub only a 5-minute walk with trains and buses going in every direction near and far. We recommend using Ubers in the city, they are well priced and efficient especially when catching within the CBD. Other Things to Note: There is potential for noise in this apartment as it is very close to a main road. There are earplugs located in the bedside tables to help with this. The 2nd bedroom is noted to have a large double bed (king) but is able to be pulled out to 2 single beds if this is your preference. Please let us know before your stay so we can arrange this and have it set up for your arrival. This isn't a party location, so please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Not more than four people to stay at the Apartment. Any breakages must be reported to The Urban Butler team so they can arrange replacements, and the owner reserves the right to charge for the replacement (for major items). Please ensure all lights are turned off when you leave the apartment, and the windows are closed and the door securely locked behind you. The owner accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any of the guests' property while the guest is onsite. Also, please note that you will be responsible for yourselves and your guests and will take all necessary care and precautions to ensure their safety at all times and you agree that any damages will be your sole responsibility and the owners and Urban Butler are exempt from all actions, claims, suits, demands, costs and damages arising from any loss or damages suffered to or by any person or property caused by the use of the premises by you or your guests. Please also note, that any lost keys will be charged for and if you lock yourselves out, the cost of a spare key to be delivered in office hours will be borne by you. Out of hours fees will also apply. Cots and high-chairs are available upon request. Bond: A security bond is held for any incidental damage or charges. Please inform us of any issues. Breakages: Please inform us of any breakages during your stay. We won’t charge for minor cutlery/glassware etc. Lost Keys: Keys and swipes are expensive, please be careful with them. If lost we will need to claim the cost from your security bond. Left Luggage: Unfortunately, we cannot store luggage at the apartment. There are a couple of options for leaving your luggage around the CBD before your check-in time of 3pm. The best option is The Luggage Hotel at 145 Quay Street (Shed 23 Princes Wharf) - www.theluggagehotel.com Another left luggage solution is available at the downtown Ferry Building, located on Quay Street. Ask the staff at the service desk for assistance. The last suitable option for smaller luggage is the self-service locker at the Britomart train station located on Commerce Street. No parties or noise after 10pm: Please respect your neighbours. Security call out fees will be charged from your security bond. No more than 4 people to stay at the apartment. Abide by Body Corporate: See separate document in the apartment for your convenience. Fire and Evacuation Procedures: Please refer to the procedures on the back of the apartment door. Interaction with Guests: The whole apartment is yours for your stay.
