The Copper Top Inn is a beautiful country lodge located 9 miles from the campus of Ohio University (Athens, Ohio). The newly built lodge is attached to our refurbished barn. These are situated on a 150 acre farm with stunning countryside as far as the eye can see. The lodge has a lot of room for guests with varying wants and desires including free WiFi. Enjoy our 2 rooms with queen size beds, and our bunk room complete with 2 sets of bunk beds. The lodge also includes a full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and electric oven. Feel free to cook out on our gas grill or eat-in with delicious catering. There is plenty of room for entertaining with ample counter space and seating. In addition, there is a large dining room table. Relax and enjoy a movie or game with our 60″ flat screen TV. A full sofa and loveseat provide the comforts of home. Finally, there is 1 full and 2 half baths. Outside areas include a fire pit with beautiful country views (please bring your own wood etc.), a gas grill, and a civilized barn so that you can spread out and enjoy! Guests have access to our lodge, civilized barn, outdoor fire pit, and gas grill. This is set up on 150 acres for you to explore! We are available as much or as little as you prefer. We live on a separate house on the property but promise to give our guests complete privacy. We both work full time and raising three kids so we are in out and out quite a bit. We are located near Ohio University and Athens, Ohio. Also, Pomeroy, Ohio on the river is close. You will want to have your own vehicle. If the weather is especially snowy or icy we recommend all wheel or 4 wheel drive. We have dogs and cats that live on the farm. They are friendly. Occasionally the dogs will bark, but pretty much leave guests to do their thing.
