Bush & Beach Retreat - Lizard Lodge

Fondly known by the family as "The Lizard Lodge" this quirky architect designed country retreat is set on a 1/4 acre amongst the trees & rural landscape. There is peace & quiet here and privacy from neighbours. If you want to go to the beach Coolum Beach is only a 15 minute drive away and popular Hastings Street in Noosa Heads is 30 minutes away. Eumundi markets are only 15 min away which make the location accessible to all the attractions of the Sunshine Coast. The house has 2 pavilions the main part with the living area, dining, kitchen, loft bedroom & sunny wrap around deck. The furnishings are comfortable are groovy & the country style kitchen is well equipped with all you could need. Catch the summer breeze on the deck where there is a big outdoor dining table & BBQ. The pot belly stove (BYO firewood) is great in winter to warm up the house & ceiling fans throughout for summer. There is a semi outdoor bathroom/laundry with big shower off the main house & another bathroom in the bedroom pavilion with a claw foot bath tub. There are 3 bedroom in this part of the house, 2 rooms have queen beds & the middle bedroom has 2 bunks for the kids. The loft bedroom in the main part of the house has a double futon. This country home has a lovely warm vibe and I imagine that music, art & reading will be main activity of guests at The Lizard Lodge. Unfortunately no WiFi. Part of the yard around the house is fenced to make the house child & pet friendly (standard pet fee applies – pets on application only). There is an off street parking bay at the house. PLEASE NOTE - After several bad experiences I need to make it clear that this house is not a party house or venue for functions. We have neighbours and we respect their right to enjoy the tranquil environment they live in and any tenant who ignores this will be lose their bond and be evicted. Please note – regarding Covid Lockdowns : Should there be a lockdown of borders to QLD or travel restrictions come into place- guests would still be booking under the third party’s cancellation policy as per the listing description. We have had a tremendous amount of cancellations since Covid started with major loss of income to owners and they have unfortunately had to make touch decision regarding future bookings.
