The newly restored red villa was used in the past as a stable and then as the farm manager’s house. Today it is called 'Villino Rosso' because of it’s very beautiful red plaster work. It is located in a big working farm with cows in a 300 year old olive grove, to walk around. It has a beautiful position up on a hill with a gorgeous view of the surrounding hills, some topped with ancient villages: Volterra is the most impressive. It is a great location from which to explore the area and even for some longer day trips.
