There is a convenience store and beachside restaurant/bar but for a wider choice, head for the foodie restaurants, including that owned by celebrity chef Rick Stein, at the nearby fishing village of Porthleven. The infamous castle topped island of St Michael’s Mount which sits off the sandy shore of Marazion is also within a short drive. The ancient town of Penzance, widely recognised as the new food capital of Cornwall is a fifteen minute drive. Iconic Land’s End and The Minack, an open air theatre built into the rugged cliff face, are within easy reach and well worth a visit or head to the cosmopolitan resort of St Ives for more beaches, galleries, shops, pubs and restaurants.
