Our newly renovated 850 sq. ft. (COTTAGE) is located in Columbia River Gorge, The nearest shopping is in The Dalles which is about a 7 minute drive,close to skiing on Mt. Hood, windsurfing in the Columbia River, Hiking Trails that are to numerous to list , wine tasting at the beautiful Washington Vineyards and rafting on the Deschutes and ZIP Lines in Stevenson. Stay in your own LITTLE oasis in the privacy of a two bedroom, one bath guest home. Our 850 sq. ft. Cottage offers the convenience of your own fully furnished kitchen, stocked with coffee and a continental breakfast. Internet and TV in the common living area along with all your basic linens for your bedrooms. The home has a master with a queen bed, a second bedroom with a Full Bed and Twin on top bunk The House and the shared Gazebo and Horse shoe pit I give my guests space but am available when needed with a 7 minute drive to THE DALLES with a variety of restaurants and stores and has an abundance of nearby hiking trails, the Columbia River Gorge is known for kiteboarding, windsurfing, and winter skiing, there are several local Wineries and/or breweries in the area, and also the Deschutes and White Salmon Rivers offers rafting and winter sports at nearby MT. HOOD . NOTE: THE DALLES BRIDGE IS CURRENTLY HAS CONSTRUCTION AND IS CLOSED ON WEEKENDS ,,,BUT IT IS OPEN OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKENDS , THANKSGIVING ,NEW YEARS AND CHRISTMAS,,,,,, Starting at 8pm Thursday till 6am Monday. WITH THE EXCEPTIONS OF THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS, DETOUR GOES around TO BIGGS JUNCTION OR HOODRIVER BRIDGE, The nearest shopping is in The Dalles which is about a 7 to 10 minute drive,, with lots of shopping and restaurants variety of to fit anyones needs,, no public transit We Live on the same property our two cottages are behind our main house we have had problems with these in the past and we are making it clear This a NO SMOKING house , you can smoke away from the house at the picnic table NO PETS , NO COMFORT ANIMALS on property at all NO PARTIES NO SLEEPING IN CARS No Sneaking additional guest in they WILL be asked to leave
