This recently renovated farmhouse is designed to blend with the one acre garden outside. It is conveniently located 1.5 miles from the center of Huntington Village. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LISTING IS AVAILABLE FOR MONTHLY RENTAL ONLY. The house was built over 100 years ago. The charm, including the cozy inside porch has been preserved while amenities such as central air and new appliances have been incorporated. Guests access the entire house and garden. I will not always be available in person. There is a 24 hour telephone number to contact the management service should any problems arise with the property. My neighborhood is filled with unique homes many of which are cottages that have been renovated over the years. It is close to Huntington Village with the Paramount theater, numerous restaurants, bars, and shops. Walt Whitman mall is 2.1 miles away. It is 2 miles to the Cold Spring Harbor train station. It then takes one hour by train to Penn station in Manhattan or one hour by train to Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center in Brooklyn. For those who wish to use public transportation in addition to Taxis and Uber there is a bus that runs in front of the property with connections to Huntington and the Walt Whitman mall. Please note that the two bedrooms and the full bath are on the second floor.
