The Ames House - Perfect for the National Park!
The Ames House is an authentic company house from the booming coal mine era in West Virginia that has been completely remodeled to fit anyone's modern needs. Experience a part of WV history that is conveniently located within walking distance to one of America's biggest adventure resorts and 3 exceptional restaurants. A short drive across the New River Gorge Bridge puts you in downtown Fayetteville where even more restaurants and eclectic shops await. The Ames House received a full remodel that is worthy of an HGTV show. A full kitchen has any appliance you will need and will always be stocked with the basic necessities, such as, a variety of spices and coffee. A beautiful dining room is attached to a spacious living room that has a hi-definition TV with any cable channel you need to keep up with your weekly shows and keep up with your favorite college or NFL football team on the weekend. Two bedrooms are fitted with memory foam beds (1 queen and two twins) and full closets. High speed wifi is available anywhere in the house and is capable of handling as many devices as you have. Guests will have full access to the house. I'll be located less than a quarter mile away and am happy to help with any of your needs. Both exterior doors of the house have keypad entry which I will provide the passcode for before your arrival. The Lansing neighborhood is located far enough away from downtown Fayetteville that you will feel close to nature but close enough to enjoy downtown within minutes if you chose. Beautiful hiking trials and scenic views in America's newest National Park are minutes away. The Ames house is also within walking distance of Adventures on the Gorge and three delicious restaurants. As mentioned above, it is possible to walk to some places but most will require a short drive. I think you will find the drive across the New River Gorge Bridge pleasant on its own right though.
