** COVID Cancellations/Changes ** We understand that if a lockdown means you are not permitted to come and stay, it is different than cancelling or changing a booking for other reasons. If a lockdown means you (as the person booking) are not permitted to come and stay, we will provide you with the choice of either cancelling and getting a full refund or changing your dates. Please ask us if you have any questions about this offer as some exclusions may apply based on notice, group composition restrictions, etc. ** About the home ** "Kahakai" is a lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, with 2 living areas, a games room set up in the garage and stunning views over Sunderland Bay.Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below: ** Indoor Areas ** Upstairs, the open plan living / dining and kitchen area has wall-mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning and TV with DVD player and foxtel. This leads on to the 1st floor deck with stunning water views.There are 3 bedrooms on this level and the main bathroom. Downstairs is the master bedroom plus another bathroom and a second living room with TV and DVD player and a small kitchenette with microwave, sink and fridge. ** Outdoor Areas ** The upstairs rear deck provides a lovely sheltered place for outdoor meals with a great view. The games room (converted garage) contains a fold up table tennis table and dart board. ** Kitchen ** The fully appointed upstairs kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, pantry, large fridge, electric oven and cook top. ** Heating/Cooling Systems ** The upstairs living room home has a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner and the downstairs living room has a wall mounted heater. There are also mobile fans and electric heaters in all the bedrooms. ** Bedroom Configuration: ** Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): Two single beds Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Queen bed ** Linen ** A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted), pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this 'optional linen'. The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of $30 per king/queen/double bed and $15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service. ** Peak Periods ** Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, ** check in times **are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional** linen hire **over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up. ** Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies ** Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
