You will have access to the whole townhouse to yourselves. NO SHARING. ↬ You will have the place to yourselves, so although we may not have the pleasure of meeting you, we have provided a binder full of tips from the locals (us!) and information for your stay. ↬ The ease of self check-in means you can arrive at your leisure anytime after the check-in time. Please feel free to call on the day of arrival as your place might be ready earlier for check in (not guaranteed). ↬ We are tour booking operators so feel free to ask us to book you on some tours, send you pictures before your holiday to make your holiday a breeze, in peak seasons tours can get filled up as well, best to book before arrival. ↠ Cannonvale Beach is only a 3 to 4 min flat walk away, with free BBQs, shaded tables, playgrounds, gym equipment, swimming area, Fat Frog Cafe, spa/massage centre, basketball court, skateboard park, tennis courts, & start of the Bicentennial Walk-way / Boardwalk ↠ 24hr Fitness Venue next around the corner, with Yoga, squash, fitness classes, massage, cafe, etc. ↠ 5 min walk to Whitsunday Shopping Centre (Coles, Pharmacy, Bakery, Restaurants, Liquor Stores & more) ↠ Relaxed area among the locals & away from the party scene ↠ Only 3 min drive / short bus to Airlie's Main Street & Lagoon, or enjoy the famous waterfront boardwalk by either walking or a bike ride - a treat in itself! (Bicycle rentals are available in Airlie) ↠ Local bus stops close by (some tours & restaurants also offer free shuttles!) ↠ Public boat launch at VMR 1 min drive away ↠ Cannonvale is considered to be a rural town, and we love that about it! It has a relaxed, beachy small town vibe. It also means that some things can be a bit rustic. ↠ BIKE: Our location is ideal for an enjoyable / mostly flat bike ride to town via the famous Bicentennial Walk-way / Boardwalk. You will be spoiled by the views along the waters edge and are likely to spot turtles and fish in the vibrant colour of the lapping coral sea (particularly at Turtle Boardwalk). There are cafes and restaurants along the way, so plenty of places to refresh, sit and observe boats coming in and out of the marinas, enjoying the local vibe. Depending on your speed, it is about a 15 min ride to Abell Point Marina, and 20 mins to Airlie Town Centre. ↠ WALK: Plenty of things are walkable from our location, including the beach, Whitsunday Shopping Centre, and Bicentennial Walk-way. If you have time to spare and prefer not to rent a bicycle, you can walk right to Airlie's Town Centre along the waterfront in about 45 mins (depending on your speed / stops; you could make an entire day of it if you stop to take in everything along the way!). There are plenty of places to rest & refresh, but take a water bottle, sunscreen, and hat, as this is North Queensland and can be quite warm. ↠ BUS: There are several bus stops close by as a quicker option if you don't have a vehicle or bike rental. ↠ DRIVE/TAXI: Parking & Taxi service info is also provided (everything is a short drive from our central location) ↠ FREE SHUTTLES: Some tours & restaurants also offer free shuttles, so be sure to ask when you book with them! Or if we book your tours we will organise that for you. ↬ Our aim is for your comfort and enjoyment, and if we can add to that in any way please let us know. ↬ The cockatoos will come inside if doors are left open and food left out, we suggest not to feed these birds on the balcony. SELF CHECK-IN DETAILS AND LOCK BOX CODES WILL BE EMAILED TO GUEST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. Please ensure a valid email address in provided for all correspondence (No reception on-site) ↬The following Code of Conduct governs tenant behaviour and use of the property. ↬The tenant agrees to follow the guidelines below, for themselves and any visitor they allow at the property. ↬TENANTS: A responsible adult (over 21 years of age) must always be on this site when children are present. Must be (over 21 years of age) to book this property all bookings made under this age limit will be cancled and no refunds will be issued as its a breach of the booking terms and conditions. ↬No unauthorised people permitted to stay overnight. Maximum 4 guests allowed on this property. ↬NOISE AND NUISANCE: The tenants agree not to cause or permit nuisance at the property. This includes excessive noise, disruptive behaviour. Noise should generally cease after 9pm Sunday through to Thursday and 10pm Friday and Saturday, but consideration should always be given to neighbouring properties. The guests agree that the premises will NOT BE USED AS A PARTY HOUSE. ↬PARKING: is available off and on street. ↬GARBAGE/TRASH AND RECYCLING: Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling accordance with the usual practice, bins have been provided. NO rubbish is to be thrown in the garden. ↬PREMISES CONDITION AND CLEANLINESS: The tenants agree to leave the premise in a clean and tidy condition upon vacating, with all fittings and chattels in their original condition and position at the beginning of stay. All items provided for use are to remain property of the premises. Tenants are to advise the property manager of any damage or disrepair within 12 hours of this occurring. Any repairs for damage or excessive cleaning that is attributed to the tenants stay will be paid for by the tenants; including but not limited to stains on sheets and towels. ↬KEYS: At the end of the agreed tenancy, tenants agree to lock the premises, close all windows turn lights and air conditioning off and return one key to the lock box Any lost keys will be replaced at the tenant’s expense. Please make sure you lock up each time you leave the property. ↬SMOKING: All tenants agree to abide by the no-smoking rule anywhere inside this property, only allowed to smoke outside with all sliding doors closed. ↬TERMINATION OF ACCOMMODATION: If tenants are found to have contravened any of the above Code of Conduct responsibilities, a verbal warning will be issued. If the contravention is not rectified immediately the accommodation booking will be terminated within 2 hours’ notice of the Property Manager’s discretion. No refunds will be made. ↬The tenants agree to leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition upon vacating. Dishes need to be washed, dried, and put away, rubbish is to be taken out. Extra cleaning fees will apply (min $200.00) if extra cleaning is required.
