Stunning home in Monsegur with WiFi and 4 Bedrooms
3 bedroom accommodation in Monsegur
Dating from the 18th century and originally a farmhouse, Les Lauriers, has been carefully restored, retaining many of its period features. Beautiful oak beams sit astride exposed stone walls, the vaulted 6m ceilings give the reception rooms great space and dignity; the stone hewn fireplaces and natural terracotta tiled floors capture the charm and ambiance of how life was in this old building. Accessed from a private road and drive and set in its own substantial gardens with mature Oak, Cedar and Acacia trees, the landscaping has been a particular interest to the owners ensuring privacy within the double planted hedging. Large terraces both back and front, allow guests to ‘soak up the sun' so that al-fresco dining can be enjoyed in sun and shade. Several dining tables and parasols are spread amongst the trees and flowering shrubs. The private pool, surrounding tiled patio area and sun loungers are always enjoyed by guests with plenty of grass to play bat/ball games or perhaps a game of boules over aperitifs in the cool of the evening; new poolside lighting allows guests to swim when they like. The House is far from the main roads, the few vehicles are mainly local tractors and locals on their way to the villages.
