Grab a kayak or paddleboard from out the back and hit the water, or stay home and soak up the sun on the deck as you watch the kids jump on the trampoline. Come dinner time, it’s easy to whip up a great Kiwi meal thanks to the well-equipped kitchen and the BBQ on the back patio. The large outdoor table is all ready for you to dine alfresco, and after dinner, just pop the dishes in the dishwasher, pour your favourite drink, and retreat to the outdoor fireplace to see out another great day on holiday. Sandy Feet Retreat comfortably sleeps up to eight guests across its three bedrooms. Two rooms feature luxurious king-size beds, while the third boasts two sets of bunks; making it an ideal space for the younger family members to call their own. Here at Sandy Feet Retreat, you’re only a 5-minute walk from the beach, and 10 minutes from water taxi operators who can take you on a quick trip to some of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Access to the Abel Tasman Coastal Track is just 1.6km away, as is The Park Cafe, serving up delicious wood-fired pizzas, and that all-important barista coffee. For an adventure further afield, Kaiteriteri with its eateries and famous Split Apple Rock attraction is just a short trip by road, water taxi, or kayak! Other things to note: There is a trampoline in the garden but as there are no safety walls, all guests should take care if using this and only allow one person on the trampoline at a time. As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water. There are life-jackets available to use with the kayak and paddle boards, but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety.
